My partner and I have agreed on a time, how do we get our One Small Step Connect interview link?

When both One Small Step Connect participants join the chat room, they will suggest potential OSS conversation dates and times. Once you and your partner agree on a date and time for your conversation, then both participants will update the digital platform with the information, and then select Next Steps.

After both participants have agreed to the Conversation Agreements, you will each receive a message from StoryCorps containing a link to the One Small Step Connect interview room. Do not enter the recording room before your scheduled conversation date and time.

Please note:

Your recording room link is often sent before your scheduled interview time.

Participants SHOULD NOT enter the interview room for their One Small Step Connect conversation before the time and date agreed upon with their interview partner. If you enter the interview room ahead of your scheduled interview, then you run the risk of compromising the recording and delaying their interview.
