When you sign up to be on the StoryCorps Mailing List, you have the ability to later update your email preferences, or unsubscribe from email correspondence if you wish.
To unsubscribe or update your email preferences from StoryCorps emails, go to the bottom of your latest email from the StoryCorps mailing list, and scroll down to the bottom of the message.
At the bottom of the email, below StoryCorps’ contact information, there are three options to click on: Update Your Email Preferences, Unsubscribe, and View in Browser.
Unsubscribe
To unsubscribe and no longer receive any communication from StoryCorps, click “Unsubscribe”. You will be directed to a page that says “Unsubscribe Successful”, and you are all set.
Important: You will receive a final email from StoryCorps confirming you have successfully unsubscribed.
Update Preferences
To simply update your email preferences and still receive occasional communications from StoryCorps, click the first option “Update Your Email Preferences”. You will be directed to a screen that walks you through changing your preferences for the correspondence you receive from StoryCorps.
*Please note that unsubscribing from StoryCorps emails does not include any emails that contain information regarding any recording appointments, conversations recorded, or your interview(s) in the Archive.
