Once you’ve created a community, you can share it with anyone you’d like. You can share the URL for your community so people can access it via a web browser, or share a Community Code to help people join your community via the StoryCorp App.

Sharing a URL or link for your community
You can invite people to view or join your community by sharing the URL for the community page with them directly. If you select the Share Community button on the community page, you can copy the link to the community or use one of the other sharing options. You can also copy the community URL from your browser’s address bar when viewing the community page.
Once you have your community URL, you can share it via email or using your preferred messaging app.

Pro Tip: If you are inviting individuals who do not already have archive.storycorps.org accounts, you can add “/register” to the end of your community URL to direct them to a special page where they can create an account and join your community at the same time! |
Sharing a Community Code for your community
If you set up a community code when you created your community, you can share it with anyone looking to join your community from the StoryCorps App. If someone doesn’t have an archive.storycorps.org account, they can use the community code to join when creating their account in the app. If they do have an account, they can also use the community code to join from their profile at a later time.
