Can someone who is not a teacher or student participate in The Great Thanksgiving Listen?

Yes! We invite anyone over the age of 13 (with parental consent if you’re under 18) to participate in the Great Thanksgiving Listen by recording a meaningful conversation with someone you know.

While The Great Thanksgiving Listen is a technology-based assignment originally developed for high school students, it has also been applied successfully as an extracurricular and community-building opportunity in classrooms, OST (out-of-school) environments, community centers, living rooms, and kitchens across the country.
