Can I use my own questions to record a StoryCorps App interview?

Yes. When you are in the “Prepare an Interview” step of the app, you will be prompted to create a list of questions. You are given the option to write your own questions (“custom questions”) or choose from an extensive list of prepared questions.

Our questions are suggestions for starting great conversations, but we find that some of the best stories come from listening closely to your interview partner and simply asking, "Can you tell me more about that?"
